Berenice Torres, an instructor at La Ceiba, shows off her woodblock printed book to resident Priscilla Veraga. Found patterns of moth trails in wood were printed on Thai paper. The ink is made from dried and crushed cochineal insects, which are found on the undersides of certain cacti (otherwise known as carmine). I am definitely trying this next time, Berenice!
